As well as Under the Mud’s TV premiere on Monday night (BBC1, 11.50pm), star Lenny Wood was in demand as he appeared on ITV news and Billy Butler’s Radio Merseyside show!
Lenny met reporter Caroline Whitmore by the Garston gas tower where the chase scenes in UTM were shot. The interview took about half an hour before Lenny had to rush off to Radio Merseyside! Billy Butler has been a huge advocate for UTM over the years and chatted to Lenny about the TV premiere that night, as well as his other projects.
There has been a lot of interest in UTM being shown on the BBC, various websites and message boards have been full of support for the small film that’s finally making it big. It was even featured as one of The Telegraph’s TV Highlights.
